Green Launch Party A Success!

The Kiwano’s green launch party was a success! We loved connecting with our great business supporters and Vancouver’s top green leaders.

How Do You Run A Sustainable Event?

It’s easy! This is what we did:

- All prizes were fair-trade and sustainably sound
- We got a non-profit on board. The Stanley Park Ecology Society actively contributes to a sustainable economy and protects the natural environment by providing educational programs
- The food provided was sourced from local, organic farms
- Our sponsors were green, ethical small businesses
- The location was next to a bus stop and there were several bike routes available from downtown
- All carbon emissions were offset by Carbon Fund, supporting a renewable energy project.
