It’s becoming more and more evident: the climate is changing. In 2007, the United Nations Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change produced a notorious set of reports showing the extent to which climate change is already with us, and making disconcerting predictions of the future if we fail to take action. Japan’s recent earthquake and tsunami – followed by the Fukushima nuclear disaster – makes it all too clear that natural catastrophes have a hefty impact on how we conduct business.
